The above guides are intended as a self-directed resource to help you through your studies. Are you a first year student, just starting to be asked to use Library resources independently by your instructor (i.e. outside your reading list), or are you returning to third-level education after some time away? You might get started with the sections on Sources, on Evaluating Information and on Academic Integrity. Are you starting a major research assignment i.e. final year project or Master's project? Not a bad idea to check it out all the way through, starting with section one, which covers the very important Research Question.
