The Library welcomes suggestions from staff and students for additions to the Library’s Collections.

If approved, our policy is to order a hardcopy and an e-book of titles that are relevant to teaching and research needs.  We order the latest edition of requested books.

Reading List Service

For books that are course materials please contact the Reading List Service. This is a specific Library service that prioritises teaching support materials.

Journal / Database Requests

Requests for recurrent subscriptions such as journals/databases must come from academic staff. Authorisation from the head of school may also be required.

Our ability to purchase subscriptions in particular has been limited in recent years due to ongoing cuts to the Library’s Information Resource budget. As a result there is currently an embargo on new journal and database subscriptions.

Please forward any journal or database requests to where we will hold details pending an improvement in our budgetary situation.
