External Membership Form
With increasing student and staff demand for space and resources, it has been necessary to review the application process for external membership of the James Hardiman Library.
From January 14th 2019, a new application process is being introduced for both new and renewal applications for external membership of the Library.
Due to increasing student and staff demand for space and resources it has been necessary to review the application process for external membership of the James Hardiman Library. External membership is now limited to individuals who have a specific 3rd level research requirement, a professional or regulatory advancement requirement to access the Library collections and use Library resources to assist with their research. Applicants will be asked to provide detailed information on their area of research and the reason they require access to the Library.
This new process is designed to ensure we continue to support staff and students of NUI Galway while assisting external individuals who require access to our collections to meet their specific 3rd level research need.
