Guide to Finding Books and Journals
Guide to Finding Books and Journals
The Library catalogue is key to finding information needed for one’s studies.
The Library catalogue allows searching for books, journals physically held in the library, and for e-books, e-journals and databases. The catalogue also allows searching within certain databases, in order that content can be identified right down to the level of a journal article which will be useful for studies or research.
Within the Library catalogue, a hold may be placed on a book if the book needed is currently on loan, and a user may renew a book on loan in order to avoid paying fines.
See our How do I? section to find out more about finding the information resources needed.
